1. What does AuctionPro Property do?
We help you sell your property quickly through a professional auction process.
Our goal is to sell within one month.
2. What types of properties can be auctioned?
We auction:
- Residential homes
- Commercial properties
- Smallholdings
- Farmland
- Residential plots
And any other property types
3. What is the commission fee?
We charge 5% buyers commission, but this figure can vary dependant on property values. Commission is charged on the final selling price of the property.
4. How long does it take to sell a property?
Our aim is to sell every property within 30 days of going live with advertising and marketing.
5. What marketing packages do you offer?
You can choose one of three advertising packages:
- In-house property photography
- Listing on AuctionProProperty.co.za
- Online property portals listing (e.g., Property24, Private Property, Gumtree)
- Custom-designed digital property brochure (PDF format for sharing)
- Targeted Facebook & WhatsApp group posting
- All features from Starter Package
- Professional property photography
- Featured posts on AuctionPro’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)
- Boosted campaign with sponsored reach
- Listing on multiple online platforms
- Branded “For Auction” signage (if applicable)
- All features from Standard Package
- Drone aerial photography & video
- Premium placements on top property websites
- Custom branded digital brochure with floor plans (if available)
- Dedicated email campaign to active property buyers
- Basic Google Ads campaign targeting relevant buyers
- All features from Advanced Package
- Full video walk-through tour with voice-over
- Extended drone footage & aerial mapping
- Featured listings on homepage of property portals
- Enhanced email campaign with retargeting options

The more you invest, the more buyers we reach
6. Do I have to accept any offer made at auction?
No. You set a reserve price (the minimum price you will accept). If bidding does not reach that price, you are not forced to sell.
7. Can I set my own reserve price?
Yes, you set the reserve price with us when you sign the auction mandate. We will advise you if needed, based on the market.
8. How do I apply to auction my property?
You simply complete our Customer Information Form, and we’ll guide you through the rest. We also sign a Mandate Agreement to authorize the auction.
9. Who pays for transfer fees and other legal costs?
Normally, the buyer pays all transfer fees and costs, unless otherwise agreed upfront.
10. Can I sell if my property still has a bond (home loan)?
Yes. We settle your bond from the proceeds of the auction sale when the transaction is completed.
11. What if my property does not sell?
If your property does not sell at auction, we can either:
Re-auction it again (possibly adjusting marketing/reserve price),
Or list it for private treaty sale (normal sale).
12. Do I need to do anything special to prepare my property for auction?
Yes, good presentation helps!
Clean, tidy, and maintain the property.
Make any small repairs if possible.
We will also give you simple tips when we list the property.
13. Is the auction open to everyone?
Yes. Anyone can register to bid (once they meet our registration and deposit requirements). More bidders = a better result for you.
